Lesson 1: Trading the Financial Markets
The start of your educational journey! We go through the basics to make sure that we have a common starting point from which we can progress. In Lesson 1, we discover how the markets function, what asset classes we will be concentrating on as part of this course (forex, cryptos, stocks, commodities and indices), and what is required in order to attempt to increase your chances of becoming successful. We conclude this class by guiding you on how to access your own simulated trading account to make sure that you are fully prepared for the remainder of the course.
Lesson 2: Accessing your Trading Platform
This is the start of the practical part of trading. We help you to set up your workstation with a trading platform, decluttering all the unnecessary functionality. We then help you understand how different types of trading brokers work, so you are informed and aware of the pitfalls. We find the most popular markets that we will be concentrating on and show you how to create custom views so you can access markets easily the way you like them. We then go through the different functions of the platform and help you get comfortable with how to place orders, predefined exits and indicators on the trading platform.
